Product Description

Round duct flange roll forming machine with formed angle flange ring
Round Duct Flange Making Machine
The JACK-AIVA Round Duct Flange Making Machine produces circular angle flanges from galvanized steel coil for round air duct connections. Designed for HVAC ductwork manufacturers and ventilation fabrication workshops, the machine processes steel strip into the angle profile required for flange ring production.
Also known as a Round Duct Flange Roll Forming Machine, the equipment combines angle-profile forming, rivet-hole punching, ring bending and hydraulic cut-to-length. The specified configuration processes 2–4 mm galvanized steel, with six forming stations and an adjustable forming line speed of 0–10 m/min.
The complete flange manufacturing process also includes ring joint welding and connection-hole punching. A separate servo-controlled punching machine is available as an optional unit for processing connection holes after the flange ring has been welded.
The forming line uses Cr12MoV rollers hardened to HRC 58–60, supported by Ø60 mm 40Cr steel shafts. A 7.5 kW main motor drives the forming machine, while a 4 kW hydraulic station supplies the hydraulic cutting system.
Flange profile dimensions and the required equipment configuration can be developed according to customer drawings. Please provide the material specification, flange diameter, angle section and hole layout for technical evaluation and quotation.
Production Process
Coil Feeding → Angle-Profile Forming, Rivet-Hole Punching and Ring Bending → Hydraulic Cut-to-Length → Ring Joint Welding → Connection-Hole Punching → Finished Flange Inspection
The main forming line produces the flange ring profile with rivet holes and cuts it to the required length.
The ring joint is then welded before the connection holes are processed. Connection-hole punching is performed on a separate servo-controlled machine, supplied as an optional unit.
Welding equipment and the final scope of supply are specified in the project quotation.

The dimensions, weight and power figures above refer to the specified forming line. Requirements for separate welding and connection-hole punching equipment are confirmed in the quotation.
The stated speed is the forming line speed. Finished flange output also depends on flange size, cutting cycles, welding and connection-hole punching requirements.
Rivet Holes and Flange Connection Holes
The machine configuration distinguishes between two types of holes used in round duct flange production.
Rivet Holes
The main forming line includes a device for producing Φ5.2 mm rivet holes in the flange profile. These holes serve the flange-to-duct attachment arrangement specified in the product drawing.
Flange Connection Holes
Connection holes are processed on the flange face according to the required joint design. A separate servo-controlled round flange punching machine is available for this operation.
The ring is welded before connection-hole punching so that the hole layout can be positioned on the closed flange. Connection-hole diameter, quantity and spacing should be specified in the customer’s drawing.

Applications
The Round Duct Flange Making Machine is designed for manufacturing circular angle flanges used in:
- Round HVAC duct connections.
- Spiral duct flange assemblies.
- Ventilation duct fabrication.
- Circular duct fittings with matching flange designs.
- Custom air duct connection components.
Flange dimensions, material thickness and hole layouts should match the duct connection drawings and project requirements.
Why Choose This Machine?
Flange Production from Steel Coil
The machine forms the angle section directly from galvanized steel strip, allowing flange manufacturers to organize production around coil material and the required profile design.
Combined Forming Operations
Angle-profile forming, rivet-hole punching, ring bending and hydraulic cutting are incorporated into the main production line.
Defined Processing Stages
The production solution separates flange forming, ring welding and connection-hole punching, making the equipment responsibilities and processing sequence clear.
Specified Roller and Shaft Materials
Cr12MoV forming rollers with HRC 58–60 hardness and precision-ground 40Cr shafts provide a defined mechanical specification for the forming system.
Configuration Based on Flange Drawings
The equipment proposal can be developed around the customer’s flange section, material thickness, diameter requirements and hole pattern.

FAQ
What does this machine produce?
The machine produces circular angle flange profiles from galvanized steel coil for round HVAC duct connections.
What material thickness can it process?
The specified forming configuration is designed for 2–4 mm galvanized steel. The material grade and flange section should be reviewed before the equipment configuration is finalized.
Does the machine include punching?
The main forming line includes a Φ5.2 mm rivet-hole punching device. A separate servo-controlled machine is available as an option for punching flange connection holes after welding.
Why are connection holes punched after welding?
Welding closes the flange ring before the connection-hole layout is processed. This allows hole positioning to reference the completed ring geometry.
What is the production speed?
The forming line speed is adjustable from 0 to 10 m/min. Completed flange output depends on the ring dimensions and the time required for cutting, welding and connection-hole punching.
What flange diameters can the machine produce?
Please provide the required flange diameters together with the section drawing and material thickness. The suitable diameter range will be confirmed during technical evaluation.
Can the flange section and hole pattern be customized?
The equipment and tooling can be specified according to customer drawings. Please submit the flange section, rivet-hole requirements and connection-hole layout for review.
